The ban on media coverage of returning war dead was recently lifted, as long as family members of the fallen heroes give permission. Do you agree or disagree with this decision?
Disagree, unfortunately the family doesnt always respect the wishes of the deceased, and in most cases the media turns what is a solemn respectful time of mourning into a side show representing political beliefs.
Personally i believe when someone joins the service they should be asked then and there, if something happens, if they would want the media to be allowed.
If you had to teach something, what would you teach?
Empathy, its almost a forgotten element of humankind.
What's the worst way you've ever been broken up with?
Ive never been in that situation. Ive always been the one who has did the breaking up but that could be because ive been married most of my adult life and dated my first husband from the time i was a sophmore in highschool until we married.
Sheesh, come to think of it when it comes to dating ive not really lived much, oh well thats life i guess.
What's the best thing between two slices of bread?

What, if anything, is not okay to joke about?
Death or someone elses tragedy.
Snowball fights, hot cocoa by the fire, and sleigh rides... What's your favorite thing about winter?
Snow if i ever get to see any real snow. I love snow and when it first falls and is at least a good few inches its so beautiful especially with the sun reflecting off it. Then there is nothing more wonderful then crawling into bed cold and snuggling up with a warm body next to you. I kid my husband all the time that hes my electric blanket.
Openly keep, store away, or toss completely? What do you think should be done with past gifts from old flames after you've broken up and are with someone new?

That depends on the person and perhaps the new significant other if they have one and what the gift was. Personally i get rid of it all, the past is the past and the future is a new beginning but my husband has a few items around that were given to him by a woman in his past and it doesnt bother me. Some woman on the other hand dont like the idea of another womans gifts being around.
Now if it were a bed my husband was given by another woman, its getting trashed i dont care how expensive it was or how nice it is or if it were sexy underwear its also getting trashed i dont mind gifts but darned if i want to be reminded of his past sex life every time i go to sleep or see him wearing something sexy she picked out.
I also dont think he would appreciate seeing me in sexy lingerie that my ex picked out... there are some gifts that just really need to go in the garbage.
All in all i would stick to this, if the gift is upsetting to anyone, then get rid of it after all your past is your past and you are trying to make a new future but also if your the one thats being bothered make sure its for the right reasons and not insecure jealousy.
"Oh, but it's cold outside!" It's a fact of life that the economic climate is a bit chilly this holiday season. Is that affecting how you're doing your holiday shopping?
Sponsored by Best Buy.
Not really, im a very frugal person and ive never really believed in going "All Out" for the holidays. For the most part Christmas to me has become to commercialized and i refuse to buy into it.
How do you feel about the results of the election?
Peaceful at the moment but dreading the work ahead. This was just a small step, the larger step is making sure Obama follows through on every promise that he possibly can. Holding him accountable, something we failed to do with the current President. He's been talking the talk, now its time for us to make sure he walks the walk.
